Introducing 1DAT
"One Day at a Time" is a collection of unique individuals who fell
together by chance. Kenton Cooley, vocals, has sung his entire life and
music is a part of his soul. Dylan Owens, guitar, is a young, funny boy
with a bright future and has been playing for ten years. Matt Short, a
drummer of ten years, was in his High School drum line and always has
the need to beat on something. Ryan Murphy, is the young owner of an up
and coming studio, AudioFrEQ Studios, and also has played piano for
nine years. Once the boys began to cover "If It Means A Lot To You" by
A day to Remember, they started to realize there was more potential in
the group than just performing covers; so Kenton and Dylan dug up a
collection of old song lyrics and went to work. As music was joined
with meaningful words, the sound of the band arose, combining country
and rock with a twist of indie and alternative. They do whatever it
takes to practice every single day in an effort to show others where
their true passion lies. They hope that you will support them in their
hopes of being in next year’s Warped Tour, so please listen and expect
to hear much more music of varying styles fused with true passion. As
the boys always say, remember to take it “One Day at a Time.”
